DEBENHAMS.COM TO OPEN BEAUTY STORE IN MANCHESTER ARNDALE

Debenhams.com is set to open a flagship Beauty destination at the iconic Manchester Arndale, on the 2nd of December. As the birthplace of the Boohoo Group, Debenhams.com was naturally drawn into the hub of city, matching the department store’s own incredible history within the retail space to the city’s, it was the natural first choice for the flagship to based here.

Since the acquisition by the Boohoo Group at the beginning of 2021, the much-loved British e-tailer has harnessed their beloved heritage whilst rebranding their aesthetic welcoming a fresher, modern and more inclusive image overall. The launch of the Debenhams.com Beauty store, spreading across two floors and covering a total area of 7,552 sq. ft of prime retail space, will give customers the chance to experience the latest from Debenhams.com Beauty, first-hand.

Debenhams.com wants to create a destination that is fresh, modern, and unique, an elevated space where customers can experience the latest in Beauty. The store reflects the brand’s new vision within its finish, and materials used to create this space, taking inspiration from high-end beauty and fragrances brands, that will be housed within. Being an almost exclusively online company, it was essential that the store reflected that digital world, the interactive screens connect these two worlds, with real-time posting via social media platforms displayed immediately on them. The mix of horizontal, clean lines of the counters are contrasted by soft, cushioned walls, mirror the inclusive offering of the store.

On Thursday 9th December, Debenhams.com invites customers to come and experience the Beauty flagship store first-hand, as they host the first VIP event from 5.00pm until 8.00pm. With the first 50 customers to receive a bespoke Beauty goodie bag with purchase on the night, alongside beauty demonstrations, exclusive offers and sampling from icons beauty brands housed at the flagship.
